Farewell Zealandia

Farewell Zealandia: Forgotten Kiwi Songs Of WW1 is an Exhibition I developed with Tony Rasmussen of Te Manawa. The Exhibition features 20 Kiwi songs from WW1 and tells the stories of the writers (most of whom no-one has heard of). We worked with Radio NZ Concert on recording the original songs, with the arrangements for Salon Orchestra and Trio by Brett Lowe of Paeroa. At the exhibition, people can read the information on each song as well as listen to the song in its original form.

I was also the 3D designer for Farewell Zealandia. This collection of songs have been saved from "certain silence" by David Dell. Written a 100 years ago by Kiwi's during the WW1 but never recorded. David has found them (sheet music)... arranged them and recorded them, then we built an exhibition around them. David keeps adding value to this show and is now offering concerts which will really transport you back to another time.
